130,487 words
130487 / 120000 words. 109% done!
As of today, at 12:17 PM local time, I have finished the first draft of Invisible. Laboring over it since June 1st, 2010, it has taken me 704 days (or 1 year, 11 months, and 5 days) to finish it. My God, I did it. My first full-length novel is completed.
I have no idea what to do now.
...
Play me off, Maurice White and friends!

"How high is her post count?" "It's almost over 200!!!"
It's now fourteen (well after this, thirteen) entries until I reach the amazing landmark of 200 entries on Musings of A Crazy Lady Writer.
Now comes the question on what the hell I'm gonna do to commemorate this event. I had considered finally posting a picture of myself so y'all can finally put a face to the name. Maybe making a huge announcement, like another novel project chronicle... or also a little bio of my life, so far. Or even an in-depth review of one of my favorite albums.
Maybe all of them? In a week-long celebration brouhaha?
Well, as it gets closer... I'll let y'all know.

The first draft of Blues was completed at 4:01 AM today.
I'm so proud of myself that it hurts.
Besides the self-congratulatory jazz, it is long from over: the overall completion. There is research to be done and drafts to do over.
This was difficult, not without its challenges, but it was truly rewarding. I felt like I did something worthwhile with my time. There will be definitely more epic win stories like this in the future, more finishing drafts and the like.
As for future plans, they remain unknown. For now, I will take a two-day sabbatical. I will be back on the 2nd.
Until then, good night...
