I rarely do things like this

But I decided to delete my vacation post on San Francisco and overall discontinue the series. I think there is honestly no reason to post it to the world. Mostly I was going to do it to keep track of events that happened, but I did a very good job with my real life journal, so doing it again on the blog seems unnecessary.

In fact, it's a given for now on: no more recaps of my traveling adventures. Instead, I rather talk about the spoils I got during these trips. In good ol' SF, I got a ton of wonderful goodies! In due time, I'll talk about all that more. I even may want to start blogging about my record store hauls and so forth. Dunno, that sounds a little more my speed.

Not that talking about vacations aren't ever gonna appear on here again. They will, just not in obsessive recap form that reveals a wee too much about the places I stayed and so forth.

Either way, sorry for the confusion, y'all.

A note regarding LOLs and pictures

After hearing stories of copyright issues regarding pictures found on the Internet (to get an idea of what I mean, check out this Lifehacker article), I think I'm gonna tone down on the funny gifs and pictures here. I was gonna go kinda overboard with that, since it often adds a little zing to the entry, but it's better to err on the side of caution. I know I'm not making any money on this blog, but again, better safe than sorry.

Also, gif usage tends not to be too friendly for those with epilepsy and related ailments.

If I created the gifs and/or took the pictures myself, then I'll use them. You will know this by the notes in the entries and the tag "my pictures let me show you them".

If I used anything on this blog o' mine that happens to infringe on a copyright, do not hesitate to let me know and I'll happily remove it.

Quick thing

The three album reviews of recent (My Life in the Bush of Ghosts, The Red and the Black, and Easy Wonderful) will be included as part of the "24 Reviews...", since I didn't think to consider album reviews. The book review titles will not change, instead it will reflect how many of the book reviews I've done.

So far, overall, I have done 10. 14 more to go. Damn.

I may actually review Rock Band 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, have them count.

It's NaNoReMo time again! This time around, it will be The Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy. So far, it's a decent read with probably some of the worst dialogue I've ever read in a while.
