'Tis the season. Nasty sore throat, drainage (with accompanying earaches), fever (with sweats. Lovely)... yea!
In other news, school seems to be going well. I'm tearing through Geisha, A Life. Since I'm mostly bedridden, reading is an easy task.
I also discovered that I like Peter Gabriel's solo stuff more than Phil Collins'. Does that make me a good Genesis fan? 8D
Nothing much else to say. I leave you, wondering if my sore throat is actually strep throat...

It's been ages!
Hello thar everyone. It's been a while, I'm afraid. Things have been getting very busy. I complained a lot about not having time to read. Well, no wonder! I've been reading a Shakespeare play every week, learning music theory (which is hard, especially if you're not well-versed in math), critiquing and reading non-fiction, and learning about the Victorian era. So, I've been a busy bee indeed! Yikes, I rhymed. Badly.
Just finished reading A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. It was a wonderful read, but due to restraining monies, I may have to wait a while to read the last two. Dangit...
~
And a happy birthday to one of my favorite writers, Richard Matheson! To celebrate, I'm reading a short story collection of his. So far, good stuff.
~
I may update only once a week. That is, unless I can get a better handle on my time. I leave you, watching TV, when I could be reading more books...

Lacuna Coil is releasing a new album this year too!
Let's see, so far, that's Editors... Mute Math... Vienna Teng... Guster...
Music, for now, will suck a little less...

Some not-so-surprising things I learned today
I tried, but honestly, I have better things to do. I can't finish New Moon. If I wanted to hear someone bitch, I would record myself and loop it.
I haven't read all that much lately. I blame class readings and my renewed interest in Fallout 3.
No writing yet. I want to, but I have to actually do it.
I love Netflix, but can I afford to keep a subscription? Well, of course.
I think I shouldn't be ashamed of the fact that I have a lot of unread books. Sure, buying twenty new ones isn't going to help, but it's okay to buy a few new ones. As long as I read them.
BTW, I may not post as often. Possibly twice or once a week, I'm not sure. So, it's not that I'm abandoning this, but I want to minimize my Internet usage.
I leave you, wondering why I'm beginning to be forgetful...
