In Which I Reveal My True Reason I Want A Time Machine (or Lots of Money)

I love to tickle my brain with these questions Music Memoirs puts out. Today's is no exception: 5 bands I wish I have seen live, but haven't. Sadly, too easy... and kinda predictable (if you know me IRL).

1. Talking Heads (it huuurrrts...)
2. Radiohead (it also huuurrrts...)
3. Genesis (this may happen, if Phil Collins comes out of retirement and he's in good shape)
4. Bat for Lashes (y u no come down to Texas?!)
5. Dum Dum Girls ('cause why the hell not?)

Blah

I was going to write y'all a real nice entry about my feelings on feminism, but I'm not feeling it today.

Last night, I had one too many and I'm paying for it today. And I slept bad. And a paper I had turned in got a grade of C. I realized as I ordered my cap and gown that graduation is slowly becoming a reality and I became scared of the real world. I still have to finish reading Lolita because I have a desire to torture myself. I feel that this is the last year I'm gonna give a s*** about video games. I burned myself out of sushi and Talking Heads (which is alarmingly odd. The latter I blame from listening to one too many live shows, as I had warned myself about before). I'm hungry and nothing I have here sounds good.

Okay, that last one is just silly.

Overall, I'm feeling sad and anxious. I need to laugh and have some mac 'n cheese.

I originally didn't want to post this, but felt that it was necessary. After all, we all have days like this where everything seems to be going wrong.

So if you're feeling a bit like how I do right now, join me for a round of mac 'n cheese and some funny videos.

Whatdaya say?

Well, this sucks...

Apparently, it was true. Akira Yamaoka, the Silent Hill series' music producer and resident music-man, has left Konami. While he will continue to make music somewhere else, I can't help but feel there has been a loss.

Well, time to be a bitter cynic. As far as this all goes, Shattered Memories may be the last Silent Hill game I'll ever purchase. It hurts, since well, this is a great series and I don't want to give up on it. You never know sometimes, but it's hard to believe anything good could happen to the series from something like this.

His music was one of the signature trademarks of the games. One of my favorite albums of all time is Silent Hill 2's soundtrack, favorite song being this one.

Man, all this discussion makes me want to play the games again.

Either way, this isn't good news, but trying hard not to sound like a over-zealot either.
